Ladies and gentlemen, I've actually done it: I actually redrew this formerly horrid strip. You may see the old version here if you missed it. It's interesting to see how far I've come in the past few months, although I'm having more trouble drawing Gwen than I used to. I really should take a break and do some character sheets.
Notice I kept Irene's formerly Zoe-ish 'do in this strip; while I did get rid of it later, and one wonders how she got her bangs to vanish, I addressed the change later on, so the old hair stays. I fixed Aidan's, though, just because no one really cared in his case. The proportions are a lot better now; Irene and Aidan aren't floating in the last panel, although the movement doesn't quite work. Still, it's a lot better than its predecessor.
There will be an actual new strip up on Monday. But I felt the urge to fix this and show the cleaned-up result off. I really want to get through this plot arc, but I've got to do it right.
