Jelly Belly Menu

Are you sick and tired of trying for a Grape Jelly and coming up with a Licorice? Can you distinguish between a Cinnamon and a Very Cherry before it's too late? Well, have no fear, this is the solution to all your color-confusion. If not, it's yet another interesting way to waste your free time. Lynx fans, you may want to return to the Recipe page.

(Note: This page has not been technically updated since 1999 - I consider it redundant since the official site now has a pictorial flavor guide. It's largely still up for the comparison notes and will not be updated.)

Tips on Color-Coding

Despite the variety of colors that Jelly Belly uses in all its flavors, there are still some flavors that are extremely difficult to tell apart (unless you examine them under a 100-watt lamp). So here are a few groups and strategies to decipher with:

Cinnamon
Hawaiian Punch
Very Cherry
Get the spotlight out for this one. Other than simply popping one in your mouth, the only way to tell these apart is if you can pick out which one is the lightest (Very Cherry), which one is ever so slightly darker than the other two (Hawaiian Punch), and which one is left over (Cinnamon). It's probably easier to pop one in and guess.

Cantaloupe
Orange Juice
Tangerine
Orange Sherbet
Well, ah, you could......oh, forget it. Now you know why these flavors rarely show up on recipes. The Orange Sherbet, at least, isn't transparent.

Coconut
A&W Cream Soda
You can't really see from the image, but the transparent one is the Cream Soda.

Peppermint Stick
Strawberry Cheescake
The background of Peppermint Stick is white; the background of Strawberry Cheescake is pink.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, there you have it: further proof that I have no life. (Only a sugar rush or two.) Then again, if you've read this far......well, there are worse addictions.
